Will this PSU work in the short term

I am building a new system, and just wondering if the PSU I have will work for a the moment until I bring the cash together to buy a nice PSU.

I am going to be running an intel i7 2600k(not going to overclock it on this PSU) with the typical dual 4 gb ddr4 dual channel ram(for a total of 8gb), on a MSI z68a-GD65 motherboard. My graphics card is a 9800gtx. I want to use the Thermaltake tr2 430 watt Power Supply.

I understand that if I ever want to run a better graphics card or OC I WILL need to upgrade my power supply as the amps especially are kind of poor, and as I said, it is my next planned purchase, I just want to check to see if it will run the system as is. As far as I can tell, it should be able to run it just barely.

For an easy link to the PSU's info http://www.thermaltakeusa.com/Product.aspx?C=1247&id=1541#Tab1

Also I guess I should ask this while I am at it, would say a corsair professional hx850 PSU work if I am planning to OC while running either SLI'd 570's or a single 580?

Thanks in advanced for any answers! :)

In theory your PSU should just make it with the 9800GTX as Nvidia says it uses a max of 140W or ~ 12 amps. You'll need two 6-pin connectors for the 9800GTX Vid card.

You can figure out exactly how much power your PC requires by plugging in your hardware at the link below. You can chose any combination of Vid cards and SLI, Crossfire, etc.

My first choices for a new PSU would be Seasonic or PC Power and Cooling. You can also search for reviews on any of the popular PSU models as there are many.
