If you plan to mix and match the stick of ram listed above with the one that comes from the factory, please tread carefully. If the stick of ram in your laptop is identical down to the specs and brand of the stick of ram, they should work in dual channel mode. If you're looking to use that ram standalone, then yes it should work.
