Hi,

My router is asus rt-ac1200G+and I am using it with wifi5 devices (e.g. phone) now, it has 2.4GHz and 5Ghz, the furthest room does not have wifi signal (sometimes weak signal).

Q1. If I change to asus rt-ax55 router (only change router, everything else unchanged) and use it with my wifi5 devices, will my furthest room be able to get wifi signal?

Q2. If I change to asus rt-ax55 router (only change router, everything else unchanged) and use it with my wifi5 devices, will the speed of wifi increases for the wifi5 devices?

Q3. Does asus ax55 improve the range (wider coverage area) of wifi5 or wifi6 devices?

Q4. Does asus ax55 improve the speed of wifi5 or wifi6 devices?

Q5. Does asus ax55 allow my furthest room to get better wifi signal than ac1200g+ when using with wifi5 devices?

asus rt-ac1200G+ https://www.asus.com/networking-iot-servers/wifi-routers/asus-wifi-routers/rt-ac1200g-plus/
asus rt-ax55 https://www.asus.com/networking-iot-servers/wifi-routers/all-series/rt-ax55/

Thanks

Generally a change like this does not significantly change your WIFI coverage. All routers already broadcast at the maximum allowed power. The broadcast power from devices, especially portable devices is much lower than the router. So even if a device receives a signal, it can't broadcast back.

Does it mean even if I buy the most/more expensive/powerful Asus router the WIFI coverage will also still be the same like my asus rt-ac1200G+? My furthest room away from the router will still not get WIFI signal like now I am using asus rt-ac1200G+?

Is it fine to mount my router to the wall behind my TV? (from front can only see TV, router is hidden behind on wall) e.g. mount on the wall at the red circle area in this screenshot View: https://i.imgur.com/ioigmnV.png

Do I need to protrude 4 router antenna above the TV? (from front can only see TV and router 4 antenna extending out from top of TV, router rectangle box body (on wall) is hidden behind Tv)
