Will this router work with comcast?

Any modern router should support at least 100 Mbps on the WAN port. The last router I know of which had a 10 Mbps WAN port was sold around 2006. The choice of router usually boils down more to gigabit vs 100 Mbps support, and wifi performance.

You may want to pay extra for a router with a gigabit WAN port, to support ISP speeds over 100 Mbps. On the LAN side, you can add gigabit capability (between computers in your house) by adding a $20 gigabit switch, so that's less of a concern.

Hi

the link you provided goes to a TP Link unit with:- cable modem, router, 4 port switch & wireless access point.

What is the make & model of your broadband modem? (just a modem is unusual)

normally your ISP either supplies a modem, router, switch & wireless access point or recomend ones which it supports.
