Will this run Minecraft server??

Hi
I need help i have recently bought a new gaming pc.
I would like to know if my old. Acer all in one pc could be used as a minecraft server.

The specs are:
Windows 7 64bit
Intel i3-2100 3.10GHz
4GB of ram (not sure how fast)
Intel HD graphics
2 500GB harddrives
not sure on what type of mobo it is using.

Would this be enough to have anywhere from 10 to 20 friends on probably not all at once??

Hmm I hosted a minecraft server off of my pc before just for me and one person, I noticed that it used tonnes of ram ( I have 16 go and it used over 8 ) I was doing intensive for stuff on the server though, with world edit. Also your cpu may not be up to scratch, but it's worth a shot and if it's a vanilla server with little/no plugins like world edit you will probably get away with it. Good luck

Really it uses 8gb of ram thats crazy.
I have 8 in my gaming rig while playing single player it uses like 5% of that

If you don't use things like world edit or use them VERY carefully it should be ok. Otherwise you could go on crucial, download the pc scan and see if yiu can put another 4gb of ram in it. If it does say you can it will recommend you Specific type and speed, then Google the ram it recommends, and you will be able to pick up a 4gb stick for not very much.
