Hi guys I'm gonna upgrade my old rig to a budget medium gaming rig please tell me if this will work.


CPU: Intel I3 2100 (3.1GHz)
GPU: Radeon HD 5670 1gig DDR5
Motherboard: ASUS P8 H61 -m LX3 plus

Can you predict if this set up is okay? Thanks guys!

Awesome insight man, but after scouting the local computer stores I dont think I can find those parts :|

I suggest you spend less on the CPU and more on the GPU ie a pentium G2120 and a Radeon 6670 or better.

Oh I'm not buying a GPU now, I already have the HD5670 bought earlier this year.

But if I will be upgrading it I'll make sure to keep the HD6670 in mind

Now that you mentioned the HD6670 I'm thinkin about upgrading my 5670. Does changing my GPU to 6670 have a significant and noticeable change?

Yes a 6670 is a going to make a big difference but it is still low end, I personally consider it the lowest proper gaming card. If you can find a bargain on a 6850 or 6870 they are a massive step up.
