Will this setup be enough for 2-3 years?

Cpu: ryzen 5 2600x
Gpu: Gtx 1070
Ram: 2 * 8 gb ram ddr4 (3000mhz)
Psu: Seasonic 550W ( 80+ gold)


I want to play ALL AAA title games on atleast high but i prefer Ultra.

Games like: Black ops 4, Far cry 5, assasinscreed origins etc.

So will this be enough for 2-3 years or nah?

No one can say exactly what the future will hold for hardware and games, but you have a mid to high end system that should meet the minimum requirements for all pc games for the next 2-3 years.

Although there's no way to say definitively, I don't see any reason that wouldn't last 2-3 years comfortably.....Hardware demands can change relatively rapidly, but I don't see developers requiring hardware >1070 or 6c/12 in the next few years.

Ultra or V.High might be out of the question near the end of that lifespan (depending on the title).... but even 3 years down the line, that should be a solid "medium" experience, in the absolute worst case scenario.

Well as long as you play the same games at the same settings that work today. For the future who knows what new games will come out and what their requirements will be.

Then a 1070 should last you a decade, easy :lol:

Monitors are best viewed before buying to be sure you are happy with the look and feel of the picture. IPS panels will give you better pictures with better colors but they aren't the fastest so it is best to go to see what the models actually look like. Keep in mind the connectors your VGA card comes with. If possible it is best to avoid having to use an adapter.

Just saying, 1070 is not very cost effective, its a bit better than a 1060 6GB, but a 1060 6GB MUCH cheaper
