Yes it will run Crysis, no idea what settings or how smoothly without knowing resolution. And no idea how long until the PSU craps out and you have to buy half your system over again.

^^^ +1 for theAnimal.

Get a Corsair 750TX or 850TX PSU. With the PSU you have picked there you risk a disaster, and you can't even take advantage of the expensive 780i motherboard to do SLI. You can't use two GTX 260 cards with that "Extra Value" 650W PSU.

If you don't intend to add a second GTX 260 ever, get a Corsair 650TX and a P45 motherboard.

Your Crysis will work better with 2x2GB RAM than with 2x1GB.

try this.

720 BE
Biostar TA790GX a3+
2x2GB DDR3 1600mhz GEIL
ATi 4770(maybe 2 if you can afford it)
Hiper 625w PSU.
Antec 300.

Go on Eclipsecomputers for that stuff since it's cheaper than anywhere else I can find and you can drop £10 off the build by swapping the 1600mhz ram for 1333mhz,

would this psu be better, is there enough power?
and it would be 1360x768, any ideas?

By the way... When you buy a PSU look at the amperage, not the wattage. For example that "extra value" 650W has one rail with 30A. In comparison, the Corsair 650W has 52A. That's like night and day, you know... With 30A on the 12V circuit, that Extra Value thingy should have been labeled 400W, not 650W. It's a scam. It's not even powerful enough to match minimum requirements for ONE GTX 260 card.

^you need the power.

and no, corsair and silverstone are the only PSU's you get get that are worth buying in the UK, other than Hiper's.

and a 450w corsair would do the same job as that 600w.

Really? What about Antec, BFG, Coolermaster, Enermax, PC Power & Cooling or Seasonic?

^for £8 less you can get the 500w silverpower which are owned by seasonic.

edit: For the money my statement is pretty much true since for only £5 more you get quite a few more amps and for the silverstone efficiency as well.

that PSU would be OK, it wouldn't do SLI though so drop the 780 board for a P43 board.

or if you want dual GPU's get a 4870 1GB and a TA790GX motherboard by biostar with a 720 BE and a 750w high-end PSU or the same motherboard with two 4770's, a 7750 BE(make sure it's the BE version) and a high-end 650w.
