Will This Setup Work ?

Setup:

RAM; [Crucial Ballistix Tactical Tracer DDR3 1600MHz 8GB CL8 (1x8GB)]

CPU; [Intel Core i5 4670K]

PSU; [Cooler Master V850]

Motherboard; [MSI Z97 GAMING 5]

SSD; [Samsung 850 EVO 250GB]

GPU; [MSI R9 390 8GB Gaming Twin Frozr]


I have everything else including case and monitors etc. My budget is 10K Norwegian Krone(NOK) and keep in mind that there is a HUGE price difference between the countries. My question is, anything you would change and why. Will there be enough power supply? Is the power supply an overkill? etc. Help would be very much appreciated as I am new too building so seeking help from people in general and people with the experience

Yes all the parts are compatible and 850 will be more than enough. If you can get 750w power supply instead that would make more sense as you will never come close to that 850 watt total with those parts.

Ok thanks for answers ! Can anyone confirm that the R9 390 works with the Intel motherboard and processor not sure if there ment together since i've been reading about Intel and Radeon builds but nothing combined...


EDIT: Btw will the Corsair CX750M be OK?

It's doesnt matter if its an Intel board as the 390 will work on any motherboard with PCIE support which the gaming 5 has. The graphic card and processor have completely different tasks to complete so the brand is irrelevant.Yes cx750m will be good enough for your build.

All coolmaster cosmos cases are huge, your components will fit easily.
