[SOLVED] Will this SSD work with my motherboard and is it worth buying it?

I have this motherboard: https://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/H110M-HDV/

Are they compatible? Since I am new to SSD's is it worth buying this if I currently have no SSD. Are there any better options inside a similar budget?

But no, I would NOT buy that particular line of SSD.
There are other, better ones.

I'd get an 860 EVO when both are the same price, but, as the MX500 seems to always be $20-$40 less expensive, I've bought/used/sold three 1 TB MX500s recently...; surprised me to see it hit 563 MB/sec on CrystalDiskMark sequential reads...

However....SATA is fine, but, if your MB has an M.2 NVME slot available, then you should always forgo SATA in favor of Intel's 660P, which is 3x faster than SATA...and same (or even better!) prices..
