Question Will this stick work with my current one

Right now I have in my laptop one stick of ram, and want to add one more to get 16gb.
The laptop model is Asus F542UA.
It has a single dd4 channel for ram.
The stick that's in it is:
mfr:ADATA
id:AO1P24HC8T1-BSFS
8GB 1Rx8 PC4-2400T0 SA0-11

I tried finding this stick model online but couldn't anywhere.
even the ADATA site doesn't have info on it.
but when I search for my laptop model, it suggests:
AD4S240038G17 "Premier Series DDR4 2400 260-Pin SO-DIMM Memory"

This one is for sale in a number of places online.
So I was hoping this could be a good match.

Is it a decent bet, that it would work?

Yes they should work together. They are both 260-pin DDR4 2400MHz 1.2 volts.
