Will this Tagan 600W be enough?

Hi,

I would like some help, because i'm not sure that my psu will be enough. I have this build actually:


Asrock 990fx fatal1ty killer
AMD 8350
Corsair H100i, (4 fans)
Samsung 840 EVO 250GB
2x7200rmp HDD's
3 more fans, and a 100 years old gpu, and i'll get the 780ti soon.

Will this psu be enough for handle the 780 ti ?



Or i need another one better? I like so much corsair's psu, and if i need to change it, will the RM750 be good?
I know that AX760 or AX860 are so much better, but they will cost me an extra 40€ and 56€ more, but if its essential i'll pay for it.

For a system using a single GeForce GTX 780 Ti graphics card NVIDIA specifies a minimum of a 600 Watt or greater system power supply that has a maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 42 Amps or greater and that has at least one 6-pin and one 8-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors. There are some non-reference design cards that require two 8-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors.

Your picture shows that the Tagan TG600-U25 has a maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current rating of 48 Amps. That is electrically sufficient.

Where you'll run into problems is that the Tagan TG600-U25 has only four 6-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors and no 8-pin PCI Express supplementary power connectors. It's more an indication of the age of the PSU. From 2007 or thereabouts.

Some of the GeForce GTX 780 Ti cards will include one or more dual 6-pin PCIe to 8-pin PCIe adapter cable(s) in the graphics card package.

I have 1 4-pin connector, 2 6-pins and 1 of 8-pins, the 8 are in the mobo, so i'll buy an adapter.

Thanks for the fast and good solution, but one last question, i must put the adapter on some specific connector, or can i put it wherever i want?

Yes, the Corsair RM750 has way more than enough capacity to handle an AMD FX 8350 overclocked to 5 GHz and a GeForce GTX 780 Ti overclocked to however high you're able to get it to.
