Yes a 770 will run any of those games, the only thing i would reccomend is getting a 4Gb card because the games that are coming out now will use more vram... But if its just for those games you will be fine!

Yes of course you dont buy a 400 dollar video card and not have it support the latest games lol. And my moms pc from 2004 can play hd videos.

Yes. It will max out most of those games at 1080p. Watchdogs being the exception due to its massive vram usage and optimization problems.

I won't be buying anything until Black Friday, so I might get a steal on them. I am building two systems at the same time, and want them to have good graphics, especially since I have 27" monitor for both systems? Do I have to worry about the heat on the 290? I've heard mixed things about it.

Yes it can get pretty hot and loud but not unless you do hardcore gaming for long hours. Anyway, I recommend avoiding a reference design card, instead get any good brand like Msi, Gigabyte, ASUS etc...

With the 290 and 290x you should avoid the reference cooler like the plague.
