Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 G1 Gaming GDDR5 Pcie Video Graphics Card, 4GB

do I have to worry about bottlenecking if I get this card??

The motherboard can use the GTX 970 well. Your CPU, on the other hand, will struggle to keep up with the 970. The FX-6300 can hold up to the 970, but barely, and since the x4 965 isn't as good as the 6300 it might hold you back. I would get an R9 280 or 280x because your CPU would let it reach it's maximum potential and it's a great GPU.

What are your future plans?

As flamefire999 has pointed out the CPU may limit your GPU. If you plan to upgrade your motherboard/CPU in the next year or so, it might be a good idea to go with the GTX970 now and spread the cost blow over more months.

You need to come up with an upgrade/replacement plan so we can advise you better.

i was think of geting a MSI ATX DDR3 2600 LGA 1150 Motherboards Z97 GAMING 5 and a Intel Core i5-4690K Processor 3.5 GHz LGA 1150 BX80646I54690K
