Will this Wi-Fi USB 3.0 adapter work on my PC

Found this and i was wondering if i could use this on my gaming desktop to access WiFi as Ethernet is no longer available. I have a couple USB 3.0 ports on my PC

It will work on your computer as long as you are running Windows 7 or 8 and have a free USB 3.0 adapter. It will work with pretty much any wireless network.

What do you mean by USB 3.0 Adapter, do you mean port?

Also will it work well for gaming?
