Will this WiFi Card work with my board? m.2

Hey I am just wanting to know what m.2 sizes and stuff I need to have to buy a wifi card. I am currently looking at this one Intel 7265AC. What sizes do I need to have, and what connectors do I need? And if they don't fit, how can I make them? Thanks. My board is the Asus LGA1150 Z97-AR. Thanks gain.

The board you have supports M.2 2260/2280 which are for PCIe x4 SSDs.

The wifi module is M.2 1216 or 2230 which are the socket standards for Wifi/bluetooth module.

Unfortunately, they're not compatible.

For Wifi, you're probably better off just looking for a well reviewed, AC standard USB adapter.

The NewEgg page won't load for me (I'm at work) so not 100% sure on that one.

This one http://www.microsatacables.com/pci-e-1x-4x-card-to-ngff-m-2-m-key-pcie-slot-adapter is the closest thing I can find.

The problem there is the adapter makes your M.2 slot accept a PCIe card. When you use your M.2 it disables 1(or maybe 2) of your PCIe slots. So really, you'd be just as easy (and potentially better off) just buying a PCIe AC network card (an example: http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX48051)

ok, I already have a PCIe Wifi card, but I am getting Ethernet so My plan was to get rid of it, and I thought it would be cleaner looking just to use the PCIe slot. But in all reality I don't need one.
