hi guys i got a new pc...



mobo : asus p8b75-v
cpu : intel core i5-3470
memory : corsair vengeance ddr3 1600 Mhz
psu : bultzer 450w psu.....

iam stand by for a new gpu.iam thinking of buying the palit geforce gtx 660....for my budjet....will this gpu work fine with above parts?i mean no bottlenecks? i just wanna make sure...........please reply

PSU is 450W..a little low but with a 660 you are ok. Your CPU is fast but how much RAM? 8GB or 4GB?

No bottlenecks. With a 3470 you can't bottleneck the system. (cuz 660 wants 450W, which is probably plenty) If you stepped up to a 660-Ti then you might need 500W.

You'll be fine dude/dudette.

yes. there is no problem. You are fine with your system. You want DDR3. so you're good.

If it's 625W, then it will be fine for any computer with one GPU (660 ti)

my monitor is 1080p and i want to play my ever most favorite hit game...need for speed the run,battle field 3,crysis 2,farcry 3,nfs mostwanted 2012 and etc....

By the way,i got stuck between the graphics card i want to buy...which one? galaxy gtx 660 gc.....or gigabyte gtx 660 oc windforce.....

please suggest me a gpu..

and with my overall configuration...how much FPS i get while playing these games...especially farcry 3

The prices I see online suggest that the Gigabyte and Galaxy are the same price. I'd be happy with either. Gigabyte has a slightly higher Core Clock. It's not a huge difference but it is really the only thing that is different between them. Also, both companies but I'd give quality edge to Gigabyte.

My vote Gigabyte.

If you could spend an extra $20-30usd then you could get a 7870. Also AMD is giving away 2 or 3 free games with their GPUs. You could sell the games,...somehow. Also, the 7870 is faster than the 660 but more expensive.

The 7870 has improved a lot since it launched due to improved drivers.

Far Cry 3. I play it Singleplayer. The speed is fine for me. I get around 45-50fps with a 660ti. So I'd guess you would have 40fps. It is playable for sure. It's not fast action like BF3.

Good Luck. Don't stress too much on your pick. There are never ending debates about which GPU is better.
