Will this work in crossfire?

Hi there,

Recently I found out my motherboard has crossfire support : MSI H97 PC MATE
So my question is if a r9 380 4GB and a r9 370 4GB (Or another r9 380) will work together?
and will I get a noticeable peformance boost?

Why a r9 370? Not much money to spend, but if it boost my peformance I would love to spend the 180 euro's on it.

My specs :
Mobo : MSI H97 PC MATE
RAM : 16GB Ballistix Sports Ram
GPU : r9 380
CPU : i5 4460
PSU : XFX Core edition 550W

My wattage was about 445 wats without the second card, but with around 451 (Calculator)

You can check power consumption here, this site already have a lot of things taken in consideration for power consumption.

If you want to crossfire you will need the same graphic card, so the 380+370 will not work, only 380+380 will work.
And you will need 750W for CF.

Nope wont work. Gotta be another 380 and for best results get the exact same one you already have so that the clocks and bios's are the same..
