i was wondering will a PCIe 3.0 (x16) GRAPHICS CARD fit into a PCIe 2.0 MOTHERBOARD

Yes. The interface's physical size and shape are the same. They are also backwards compatible with each other, running at the fastest version of the PCI-E interface(3.0 card will run at 2.0 speed on 2.0 Motherboard).
