I have i7 4790k and gtx 980 so i want to use triple monitor setup but 2 for gaming one not using like google etc can i connect 2 ports to my gtx 980 for gaming and connect the third on my intel onboard graphics and use them thanks

No, you cannot. You can only use one graphics card, the dedicated. You connect all 3 monitors to your 1 graphics card. If you have 3 monitors you can only game on all 3 or on 1, not 2 (which is a horrible idea anyway). It won't affect gaming performance at all if you have more connected monitors that aren't being used for gaming.

A GTX 980 will have 3 display ports, I don't think one even exists with 2 display ports. I don't really know what you're saying. One monitor to one display port on the card.
 
I have a 260x that has HDMI and DP and some other one (the old low res output, i dont remember the name) but only one of each, I have a TV on the HDMI and my monitor on DP at the same time, so I was suggesting put his Google monitor on HDMI and the other 2 on DP
 


That's fine, as long as you connect all the monitors to the one dedicated graphics card.
