I have a HP h8 1214 desktop computer and I want to replace the motherboard with GIGABYTE GA-B85M-DS3H-A LGA 1150 Intel B85 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard and Intel Core i7-4790 Haswell Quad-Core 3.6 GHz LGA 1150 84W BX80646I74790 Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 4600. Will I run into any problems?

Solution
Things you will need:

1. New copy of Windows (OEM copies invaliadte against new hardware)
2. New RAM to work with the new motherboard
3. New power supply (it doesn't have the juice or connections needed for the new board/processor - specifically the 4+4 pin processor power connector)

Oh I forgot to tell you. The power supply was replaced already to a 625W and I have 16 GB of RAM already. So all I will need is a new copy of Windows? Thanks for everything gang!

Ok then other than Windows you should be fine. Now that said the RAM you have may be incompatible with the new board, so just beware of that. You may still need to replace it.
