I have a problem on amazon I have found a gygabyte motherboard it says in the description something about maximum memory 64gb and I was thinking of buying a 2tb hard drive will it work

ram and a hdd have nothing to do with each other. It should work

That limit is to do with RAM only. That motherboard should work with any SATA drive of any capacity.
