Both of these recommendations are bad advice, IMO. "Adding" RAM is a gamble at best. You probably can't buy the same RAM later and even if you do you have no guarantee the parts will work together. Plus, you hurt your current performance by not providing full memory bandwidth to your CPU.

A 120GB SSD is too small. You have to watch it too closely to avoid filling it. With the price of 250GB SSDs in the $50 range, there is no reason to not get a 250GB.

faster RAM would be advised, you can get a better GPU for the money.
my suggestion, added a chassis just in case your chassis is a SFF needing an mATX board or a low profile card.
