As the title asks, Will TPM 2.0 prevent me from swapping hard drives? If I turn it on and install Windows 11, will it prevent me from removing a hard drive and installing it in a new computer and recovering the stuff off it if something happens to my current one? I heard it prevents you from doing that, but I want to know for sure. Thank you very much.

If you use Bitlocker, which uses TPM 2.0 for encryption purposes, then you won't be able to use the encrypted hard drive on anything other than the original system. Also if you reset UEFI settings to their defaults, I believe that also resets the encryption keys.

Otherwise no, using TPM does not prevent you from swapping storage drives.

I never use Bitlocker or anything like that. Does that mean I wouldn't have to worry about anything?
