will turning up the settings on games affect the life of my graphics card?

Hi guys, just wondering if I turn up all the settings on my games to ultra will this affect the life of my graphics card? I own the evga gtx 970 supperlocked and I want it to last me a while (several years)

It never goes above 60c and i normally play bf4 on 64 man servers

assuming you are running with a frame limiter, theoretically yes but it isnt something to worry about.

assuming you are not running with a frame limiter, no. no difference.

As long as you are not overclocking it and it is staying within your desired temps you should be fine
