I currently have 1 stick of 8gb DDR4 Kingston RAM and was looking to purchase another stick of 8gb. Currently there is a good sale on the Corsair model which has the same exact specs as mine., My worry is they might not work together for some reason. Will it be compatible with my RAM or no? Btw the speed of my current stick is 2400 or 1200mhz.

Solution
You can make any combinations you want. Memory is guaranteed in the form sold. Any other combinations you decide to create have no guarantee to be compatible together. This includes exact match, same thing, identical. Those combinations may raise your chances of the memory being compatible over the use of random modules.

As with any memory that has never been tested together before, you can do your own compatibility testing with no guarantees.
