Will Ubuntu 12.10 work on M5a97 R2.0

I want to know, if Ubuntu 12.10 will work on M5A97 R2.0.

I have the computer like this:

Asus M5A97
AMD FX-6300 3,8GHz
Scythe Katana 4
MSI GTX 660 Twin Frozr IV Gaming
Kingston HyperX 8GB (2x4GB) 1600MHz
HDD 1: WD Blue 300GB
HDD 2:WD Green 1TB

Ok, thanks. I read some threads on other sites. Some of the people told the Ubuntu didn't work for them on M5A97.

It may not be able to run any of the programs that the motherboard comes with like special tools that allows you to configure the motherboard, but you can run Ubuntu on it without issues.
