Question Will upgrade make a difference? (A10 to Ryzen)

I have an AMD A10-6800K, AMD RX 560, 16 GB DDR3 1600MHz, and Kingston A400.

If I get an AMD Ryzen 3 3300X, AMD RX 560, 16 GB DDR4 3200 MHz and Kingston A400.

Will I notice a difference? In general tasks and gaming?

It's a bump up.

Don't expect things to be 2x the speed.

For things that are very CPU limited like simulation games, going from Piledriver to Zen 2 will be huge.

For everything else, that cheap and cheerful DRAM-less and even SLC-cache-less TLC SSD will give you the same occasional odd HDD-like pauses as now.

In another thread it was mentioned that the IGP in Zen 3+ Rembrandt 6000 series APUs are now as fast as GTX970 or 1060 3GB, which are about equivalent to a RX480 or RX570 (which have at least double the resources of your RX 560). Those are now in big laptops and expected to arrive in DDR5 desktops soon.

Big differences in processors.
But, my reading says that A10-6800K is socket FM2 and 3300X is AM4 requiring a motherboard change.
There are probably better choices if upgrading a motherboard also.
