Hey guys wanna ask you for some advice with my computer
CPU: amd fx 6200
MOBO Asrock 970 extreme3
GPU: GTX 760 (1440p/900p monitor)
RAM: 8gigs 1330 mhz
PSU: Corsair vs550
CASE: Cheap ass typical case which included a psu
MEMORY: 120gb ssd + 500gb hard drive
For over a year now I’ve had many problems with my computer and have been able to “fix” (they appeared to be fixed) most of them but one has been the same. Games just feel choppy even at 60 fps. Also I don’t get the performance I feel I should be getting, for example in borderlands pre sequal I get 20 fps in fights. Also programs don’t respond at least twice a day. My mobo, cpu and ram are 5 years old and Ive been running my cpu very hot (75 degrees load) for the past 3 years so I’m worried it could be damaged but don’t know for sure. Would buying a new motherboard, processor and case (for better airflow and lower temps) fix these issues which I can’t seem to fix/even pin down to one thing?
