Will upgrading my CPU void my Windows 7 license?

I want to upgrade my Sandy Bridge system's CPU from i5 duo-core to an i5 or i7 quad-core. Will this void my Windows 7 license? (I read that the Windows license is applicable to only one or two computers, and the computer is identified by its CPU. I already have this copy of Windows installed on two computers.)

I upgraded my desktop PC´s Cpu and had no issue with windows.

Worst case you just need to call MSFT to unlock Windows again, but if you're just changing the CPU it shouldn't be a problem.

It generally won't ever happen unless you change the motherboard. Worst case you have to call Microsoft activation line and jump through some hoops. If you have a product key you will have no problem, takes 10 mins at most.
