My specs are:
Intel Core i7-6700 CPU @ 3.40GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.4GHz
16GB Memory
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 1TB Hard Drive
Dell XPS 8910
144 Hz Monitor
I currently play Fortnite and my FPS fluctuates between 70-100 fps on average. I've tried adjusting in game settings, updating my driver, and running my PC on high performance but i can't seem to reach a consistent 144+ FPS. I would overall like to be able to watch streams on one monitor while playing fortnite on the other while maintaining at least 144 FPS, but when I have a stream running I lose about ~20 FPS. I just want to know whether I should be looking to upgrade my CPU, GPU, or something else before actually spending.
I am looking to upgrade to either the GTX 1060 3B or GTX 1050 Ti 4GB ($40 cheaper). Will either of these be able to achieve what I am looking for?
