Will upgrading RAM increase performance of Skyrim SE

I am playing Skyrim special edition. My laptop has 4 gigs of ram. In the requirements published by bethesda, 8 gigs ram was minimum. But when I run Skyrim SE on my laptop, only 74 - 80% ram is used. I am currently getting 25 - 30 fps. So if I upgrade my ram to 8 gigs, will it increase my fps? I think it won't as about 20% ram remains usable when playing. But I don't know if it would use more ram if there was 8 gigs of ram instead of 4. Any suggestions?

No incresing ram do not increase fps or any performance of the games.Increasing ram only makes enough room to hold active tasks data. Games performance only depends on graphics card,of course a very good cpu is required to boost the performance of gpu its highes level so that no bottleneck issue arise.

If a games requirements call for 8 GB and you only have 4 you can still play, but not to full potential, not having enough DRAM means that the DRAM is often non-stop actively switching data from the DRAM to swap disk on your hard drive which cuts performance and thus FPS. There are apps and games that won't even load if you don't have enough DRAM

I play at 768p resolution. Maybe 8 gigs ram is recommended for higher resolution, because only 74 - 80% ram is used when playing. Do resolution have impact on ram usage? And if the game needed more ram, shouldn't the ram usage be showing around 90% while playing?
