Hello all,
Right now I am gaming with an AMD FX-8370 paired with a GTX 1060.
Playing BF4 I'm currently getting 45-50fps on ultra 1080 and can lock in 60fps with vsync turned on solidly without any interruptions on high.
I want more!
Will upgrading to the i7-6700k greatly improve my fps if I stick to the same GTX 1060 video card?
I'd be running really tight on money if I upgrade to the 1070 and at $200 more, I would not have anymore money for a newer monitor that can output to 1440p at over 60 fps.
I think I am going i7-6700k regardless, but wanted to see what my performance boost would likely be. On the Railway map, I am really unhappy that it's not buffering at that great of a draw distance, but was unsure if that was an issue with the processor or if that issue is common among all computers.
Ty!!!
