Question Will upgrading to an i7 9700k benefit me?

So currently i am running a Intel Core i7 7700 (LGA 1151) with 3.6 Ghz and i think its already overclocked to 4.0 Ghz.
I've been looking through some options and ideas i some people suggested maybe going for an upgrade since i do like my games
to run crisp and look beautiful. I would be pairing it up with a Nvidia RTX 2070 Super Asus Dual OC 8 GB. Now do you guys have any
suggestions what would maybe fit better with the current graphics card that i do have? Thanks again.

Do you realise you will need a new motherboard?

What’s the full pc spec and what resolution and Hz is your monitor?

So the full specs are as follows:

CPU: Intel Core i7 7700 @ 3.60GHz (default overclock to 4.0)
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER DUAL Asus 8 GB OC (and i did some extra overclocking)
Motherboard: Asus GD30CI (U3E1)
RAM: 16 GB (not sure for the maker but i am thinking of upgrading those too)
OS: Windows 10 Home 64-bit
SSD: 512 GB
HDD: 1 TB
PSU: Corsair TX850M
For monitor i have 2 Samsung U28E590 (60 Hz 4k)
