ASUS Maximus hero XI
Slot 1 -PCIe x16 - GTX 3080
Slot 2 - PCIe x16 -PCIe spare
Slot 3 - PCIe x16 -Already has a Usb3 hub fitted

I want to install in Slot 2 PCIex16 a Silverstone PCIe USB 3.2 card -ECU02-E - It's to big to fit in x4 slot I guess its a x10 hence need to put in my spare x16 .

The motherboard has 3.x-gen2 (10Gbps) ports, so I'd use a $30-50 gen2 hub for extra ports instead of sacrificing a PCIe slot. Those may be more expensive than cards but I personally really like the convenience of having USB3 ports wherever I want them to be on my desk. (My PC is tucked away under my desk, practically never need to touch or even see it except to clean dust filters every 2-3 months.)
