Will using recovery partition downgrade me from Windows 7 to Vista?

I am currently using Windows 7 ever since the free upgrade from Vista to 7. The problem is that I can't download Windows 7's iso off the Microsoft website so my only option to reset to factory settings is recovery partition. Will this downgrade me to Windows Vista? I believe the free upgrade has expired now so I'd be stuck on Vista.

Thanks for reading.

"noiser, slower and hotter" is dust, not the OS.

Torrents...yes, you need a full wipe and reinstall.

Maybe now is the time to leave the Vista/Win 7 behind, and go to Win 10?

If that is the original factory recovery partition, and if that system originally came with Vista...yes.
It will return to Vista, and wipe out everything on that drive.

No, that "factory reset" is exactly what it sounds like.
The system as it was the day you opened the box. Vista, and all the original bloatware.

What is the issue you're having with the current Win 7 install?
