Hi,

I installed my OS and browser in my SSD.
If I often browsing internet and watching video on website, like youtube, dailymotion, etc... Will my SSD lifespan decrease significantly?

Where does those temperarory videos saved in? Is there any solution to prevent this?

Hey there, kobanking.

The short answer is - no.

This does not affect your SSD in any way. You are right that SSDs' storage technology has a limited write capacity. However, this limit is pretty high for modern SSDs and I'd say that with normal usage (if you don't write a ton of information each day and delete it), it would take a lot of years to reach it.

Just fyi, here's a link with some useful tips for new SSD users: https://www.maketecheasier.com/12-things-you-must-do-when-running-a-solid-state-drive-in-windows-7/.

Hope that helps. Please let me know if you have any questions.
