will windows 10 use more ram or other resources than windows 8.1 or 7 ? which is the best os for gaming

corsair vengeance 8 gb 1600mhz ram kit
sapphire r9 280 gpu

will lagging occur while playing games with windows 10??

It looks like Windows 10 is going to be very similar to all the other OS's by Microsoft. You only need 1GB of RAM and if the new Raspberry Pi can run Windows 10 I'm sure most people's pcs will run it just fine.

At the moment I would say Windows 7 is the best for gaming but when Windows 10 comes out I'm sure it will be crowned king of the operating systems. Windows 10 has some brilliant new features and is going to be a great OS, I cannot wait.

DX12, will be a whole new engine, reducing CPU load, so driving those frames up higher, and yeah, it's been tested that WIndows 10 is actually lighter than Windows 7. So you're going to not lag as much, but somewhat depending on your rig, to even no lag at all.
