I bought a windows 8.1 pro OEM key. Will windows 8.1 pro accept my OEM when I install windows 8.1 from the USB installation media?

I actually don't think it will, since Windows 8.1 and Windows 8.1 Professional are different versions. But since its OEM its worth a try

When you purchased the Win 8.1 Pro, why did it not come with the correct install media?

Here is the link i used it works fine with Windows 8.1 Pro:

1. Create the Media by clicking the button once you scroll down.

2. When downloaded, open and choose what language, version and bit you want to create for Windows 8.1.

3. Create the bootable USB and when complete insert into your pc once restarted.

4. Enter your product key, choose your driver and let the PC do the rest!
