Will Windows Not Boot if I install it from a bootable USB?

Hey there guys, I know..I probably sound like an Idiot. Anyway, I plan to install windows on a bootable USB as I dont have an optical Drive. When I boot from the USB will it Install windows on my normal Hard Drive (Not the USB) and will I be able to proceed as normally, or will I always have to have the Bootable USB plugged in? It will install to the HDD

The installer will not install to the volume that it is on. It will also try to select the first non-removable disk that it finds to install to, so you should always be fine (as long as you do have a hard drive).

Why wouldn't it work? There are bootable cds and bootable usbs.You will not have issues installing it to your HDD.Although you will need to set the BIOS to boot from the usb.Make sure you have enough space on the usb too.
