Will XMP still work if I add 2 more DIMMs of the same RAM that are from a different kit?

I have two 4GB Crucial Ballistix sport 1600MHz DIMMs on a Gigabyte 970A-UD3P motherboard and I want to add two more DIMMs for a total of 16GB of RAM. The thing is that I'm not sure if XMP will work if I add DIMMs that are not from the same kit I bought back when I built the system. What do you guys think?

Solution
while I never mixing RAM kits before, and probably not in the future
all RAM will matchs the speed to the slowest one, but I don't know about the XMP (probs XMP-able if the RAM is in the same model)

still, I suggest you to get a true 4x4GB RAM or 2x8GB RAM as it is better safety and in XMP too
More than likely they will work with XMP (if they have exact same specs eg. voltage, timings, speed.) But there is a chance they will not.

*My experience is 2 for 2 with a single 8GB working with another exact 8GB stick in dual-channel with XMP, but on Intel systems.

oh, I prefer not,
as mixing 2 different kit of RAMs is not guaranteed, OCing 2 different kit is also not guaranteed
I suggest you to get a 4x4GB RAM instead of 2 2x4GB RAM then OCing it for safety measure

although you may try OCing, failure OCing RAM might lead you to many problems

Well I'm not trying to overclock the memory, I just want to know if I'll be able to enable XMP so the RAM can run at its maximum speed.

Ok I understand. I'll get a new 4x4GB kit. Thank you for your help :)
