Why would one? If AMD ever comes out with a CPU that has a decent memory controller, there's no need for any manufacturer to design or make DRAM specific to AMD - Currently their best CPU the 8350 is rated to 1866 and there's already a bunch of proven sets out there that run 1600 or 1866 and those are starting to decrease, Intel 'entry' level is rapidly approaching 1866, where it's a bout the top for AMD CPUs....DRAM makers are gearing up for DDR4 (and even higher freq DRAM than todays 3000+
