Greetings everyone! i am new here and this is gonna be my first time posting/asking.

I have an old foxconn n5235 motherboard that i am currently using a gt210 and windows 7 with ddr3 4gb ram and a core 2 duo processor the thing is i will be upgrading to a new rig after 4 or couple months so i will be using this old rig as for now it has a 200w power supply that i can upgrade but i can't upgrade the motherboard or the processor as for now i don't know anything about my motherboard so i don't know it's limits like what it can or can not support so as for now i want to buy a gt730 or gt610 to use it and would like to upgrade to windows 10 so i want to know if i can do that or not and what performance will i get on the current gen games, and is there something that i must have to upgrade? and i would like to mention that also i don't want to spend much money on this rig since i will be getting something better. thank you very much. oh and 2gb ddr5 gt730 btw

I'd go with GT730 2GB with GDDR5. Or get 2GB GTX 750ti, if you want.

And the limit for your motherboard is: it's BIOS and your PSU.
Newer cards requires UEFI BIOS to boot and some of it needs 6pin or even 6+2pin PCIE supplemental power connector.

GDDR5 gives you roughly 25%-45% FPS improvement because of improved memory bandwidth and higher memory clock speed than DDR3.
Your core2duo CPU most likely can't keep up with current gen games, but fine for 4-5 years older games. You can play it though, just don't expect smooth 60FPS on high settings.
