Win 10 Computer Blank Screen When Waking From Sleep

I have an HP desktop that I just did a clean install of Windows 10 on. When the computer wakes up from sleep, it has power, the fans spin, etc., but all I get is a blank screen.

To fix this I had to change the power settings so the computer never goes to sleep/

How can I fix this?

that's a known bug with Nvidia gpus. do you have an nvidia gpu?

It is an Nvida using the latest driver

yep, that's an nvidia drive issue. it's been a bug since September. they haven't' fixed it yet. you can try a clean uninstall/install of your drivers using DDU ; chances are that might work.

if it doesn't you'll just have to live with it until nvidia decides to fix it.

Ok, that didn't work. I can leave the power setting to high performance, so the computer never shuts off.

or I can do a clean install of Windows 10
