Question Win 10 Grayscale as Desktop-Shortcut

I'd like to enable Monochrome/Grayscale mode via a desktop-shortcut in Win10. (I know where to find it in the settings and that it's possible to enable it via a keyboard shortcut.)
Eventually, I'd also like to add 'turn grayscale on/off' to task-manager.
How would i go about the desktop shortcut? Can AutoHotKey help?

Thank you very much for your post.
Unfortunately, the links don't describe it: should there be a method to create a desktop shortcut from the specific registry entries to enable/ disable the color filter by simply double-clicking on that shortcut, I don't know it. (I'm well aware of the Win+Ctrl+C- shortcut and the possibility to enable/disable it in settings, but that is not a desktop-switch).

A related interest is this: What program would be easiest to create a colour-timeout meaning:
after x seconds of inactivity win 10 (desktop) switches to black&white. A simple click would reactivate the colour-scheme (similar in function, though not colour-related: AutoHideDesktopIcons).
