I have a Optiplex 760 with a Seagate Enterprise 500GB HDD (formerly Win 7 Pro). After wiping my HDD using D-BAN (dod short), I am attempting to clean install Win 10 from: Win10_1511_2_English_x64

Even though it recognizes HDD ID: MB0500EZBQA and lists it "drive 0 partition 1"
It says "Windows cannot be installed to this disk. This computer's hardware may not support booting to this disk. Ensure disk's controller is enabled in computer's BIOS menu" (no option in BIOS for this, but there is integrated controller in AHCI BIOS, Dell A16)
When I tried to format, it said "Could not create a new partition or locate an existing one."

Does anyone know what the issue might be?

Thank you very much in advance for any help you can give me :)

Solution
Issue solved...set all BIOS values to default, and Win 10 install went through fine. Don't know how this effected, because the only things I had changed in BIOS was to disable integrated video and audio, in order to install PCIe and PCI cards...don't remember having to do that for Win 7 install.
