I have a HP Pavilion Laptop(17-f020us) Prod. # G6R29UA. It has a Realtek RTL8188EE wifi adapter installed. Win 7 (64) was installed when purchased, there was no problem with wifi.
I upgraded to Win 10 a few days ago. Everything functions as expected except the Realtek RTL8188ee wifi adapter. I updated the driver as suggested by HP Support by sp72161. The updated driver had no effect. When I try to connect to the network, the computer notifies me “Cannot connect to this network”.
This is the latest driver from HP. I have e-mailed Realtek, they are ignoring me.
"Occasionally" I can connect via wifi but it drops the connection in less than a minute, and I cannot reconnect.
I can connect to the network by LAN.
Do you have any suggestions on how to approach repairing this problem? I have run Windows network repair many, many times and followed the instruction exactly. I am told to disconnect the router and plug it back in. I have followed the sequence for turning on the router and starting the computer.
In Device manager events console, Error 441 appears in each install instance, see below

I have run HP Support and followed all the steps as suggested per this http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04649175 I have uninstalled and installed the adapter a number of times.
HP says "It could be a lot of things" that is a quote.
I have tried two different Netgear routers, if that could make a difference, all others computers (five - 2 desktops - 3 laptops) connect.
Can you help me fix this problem.
Thank you
