Question Win 10 install media from Win 7 ...

I am currently building a new system, which will need Windows 10 ...

On my old system I still use Windows 7 (Retail Home Premium 64) and on that system I made a install media for Windows 10 on an usb-stick ... but I am curious, what will happen, when i try to install that on my new system, because the free upgrade period is long over ... so, any ideas, if that will work?

that just the install media, you need the product key to activate it
and you can run windows 10 unactivated.
try install it
