My ssd died (it had my win10) so i tried to install it on one of my hdd-s.
I deleted all the partitions of one of my drives. (wd red)
The install goes trough it goes to the automatic restart, and then boots into the installer again.
I have tried
  • forcing it to boot from the drive where i installed
  • removing my reinstall usb
-recreated the reinstall usb
-tried another hdd (deleting all partitions)(toshiba p300)
-used clean in diskpart and then tried the install
  • tried clean in diskpart and turn drive into gpt and then install
  • tried to clean and then create a smaller partition and install there
-tried cmos reset
-unplugged every drive except the one i want to install on.

Along the tries sometimes i got the error that windows could not be installed here, or that a partition could not be created, but a diskpart clean and a reboot solved these.

I have an asus z87plus MB and a 1Tb WD red. The drive had windows on it before i got an ssd, so it should work.
Bios sees the harddrive but sees nothing bootable.

At the moment im running clean all on it, but if that does not help im all out of ideas.

So, nothing worked. Tried to make it gpt with a few tools.
Went and bought an ssd. It works.
At my current understanding the only thing i can think aobut is that my new case has hdd bays and they are connected trough there, and not directly with a sata cable. But if thats the issue this is so stupid.
Anyways it works now.
