Win 10 reinstall with win 7 CD

Hi!
I have a originial CD copy of win 7, and when it was offered in 2016 i upgraded it to win 10. Couple of days ago i had a hard drive failure and I had to buy a new one. When i reinstalled the windows it, the windows didn't offer me to upgrade it to 10. Is there any solution for this or do I have to buy a new windows key?

The inlime upgrade isnt offered anymore in win 7.

You shpuld just have installed windows 10 from the off instead of installing windows 7 from disk.

Just download the windows 10 iso from here

https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10ISO

Extract the iso to your desktop.

Then run the setup.exe

Burn the iso to a disk or flash drive and boot to it and install windows from scratch.
